From Corporate Excellence to Global Social Good

Seed of the foundation was laid when I wrote an essay for admission in IMD, Switzerland that led me to reflect on my life and what will my legacy be when I am old. I saw in my childhood how generational trauma and habits can disengage, disempower and cause friction. Over the years, the intention became an idea, idea grew wings when the name of the foundation became clear to me in March 2025 on a bus ride. After resigning from my corporate job in Hilti, I asked myself what will I regret if I were to die today? Setting this foundation came up top. Hence, I convinced my partners to set this foundation.

While studying in IMD, I heard concerns about how scholarships & honors were awarded, saw how values of kindness, collaboration and leadership were misunderstood and how groupthink can change outcomes. My intention was questioned when I shared that I did not apply for scholarship after having worked in Singapore because I believe someone else more deserving can reach it. There was a survey in the yearbook asking who will be the next CEO? Despite there being two women who will take over family business as CEO, they did not appear in the list. These statistics play all over the world – in education, hiring, C-suite and board positions.

Over time, I found out that there are a lot of opportunities available for the needy, but they are not aware about it. Over the years in my life journey and corporate career, I saw the gaps and opportunities in systems, markets and employment. Awareness seems to be the number one and empowerment seems to be the second. One can give only when they are aware. Thus, happier and kinder earth foundation was born to turn these gaps into opportunities via different programs.

This website is setup to provide transparency into what this foundation does, how sponsorships/recognitions are awarded and impact it generates on the lives of people on this planet.
